Rocky always loved grilling. His passion for grilling grew after he got his first Weber grill. He cooked "Weber Chicken" and "Weber Beans" for friends and at family gatherings. His passion for grilling turned to an obsession for smoking meats. He enrolled in Jack's Old South BBQ Cooking School, run by BBQ legend Myron Mixon. The class, in Unadillia, Georgia, was an intense three-day course. Rocky ordered a new smoker from Bubba's Grills in Haddock, Georgia. When he picked up the grill, he had the opportunity to compete in a BBQ Competition with the award-winning Bubba's Grill Team. Of course they won Grand Champion that day. He also attended a class in Houston, Texas run by another BBQ legend, Konrad Haskin. He took all the information from these sources to develop his own signature flavor that is now Rocky's BBQ.
Connie worked in the restaurant industry for 15 years - from the back of the house to the front of the house. Recently, she worked with various caterers in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. Her experience and attention to detail will result in an event tailored to your needs.
